The first ever Suzhou half-marathon

The first Suzhou Half Marathon is on April 10th 2010. The event is to start at Jinji Hu Lake. The government sponsors of the event are the Suzhou Industrial Park Administration Committee (SIPAC) Civil Affairs Bureau and the Suzhou Sports Race Administration Center. The Suzhou Half-marathon is to be a 'real' race, and is expected to be registered with AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races). The plan is for a half-marathon (21.0975 km) and a 5km fun run.

Date: April 10, starting time: 8.00 a.m.
Place:  Moon Harbour (between Modern Plaza and the Expo Centre), Suzhou SIP

All China Nash Hash 2010 in Qingdao

Calling all Suzhou hashers. We are planning to travel to the Qingdao NashHash this year. It’s in September, from the 3rd to 5th. And great runs, fellowship, beer and souvenirs are promised.

Friday-departure from Suzhou and arrival in Qingdao. Friday evening shuttle bus to the Tsingtao Brewery for welcome drinks, followed by pub crawl.

Saturday Laoshan Nature Park Hash. Three trails, snail, regular and hard.  Saturday night finish on the beach, followed by Bash in town.

Sunday Hangover Run in Qingdao old town with finish at the beach. Shuttle buses to airport provided.

Cost: Early registration 400 RMB before July 1st. 500 RMB after July 1st.  Hash hotel is 4-star with rooms from 200 RMB up to 1400. Hotel has indoor pool.
