Labor Day Weekend Charity Hash 

Sign up now for the Suzhou H3 Labor Day Weekend Charity Hash. Join us in Suzhou for 4 Hashes in 3 days, great parties, lots of presents and goodies and help out the Handicapped at the same time.

Hash Schedule

April 30th:   Pretty-Full Moon Hash and Pub Crawl (adults). The real Full Moon is apparently on April 28th, but close enough!

May 1st:  Hashers Labor Hash (adults) with Snail, Standard and Hard-core Hasher trails followed by Suzhou Bash (and we do know how to party!). 50/50 Raffle.

May 2nd:  Open Lake Hash (all welcome) followed by Brunch Bash and Prize Raffle, followed by Hangover Hash (adults) in the Suzhou countryside. Bash Afterwards. 

May 3rd:  Relax and recover.

We promise great runs through 4 very different parts of a great city, with Run proceeds and Raffle proceeds going to help Suzhou handicapped. Accommodation recommendations available for visiting Hash groups and individual Hashers from out of town.

Cost: 400 RMB per person for the weekend including all 4 Hashes and Bashes afterwards, plus goodies and souvenirs. Open Hash only cost is 50 RMB per person. Price includes souvenir t-shirt. Prize raffle tickets 40 RMB per or 3 for 100 RMB with excellent prizes. Watch this space for additional details, list of raffle prizes, trail types and more.

Accommodations for out of town Hashers.

Suzhou has thousands of hotels in all price ranges, but  we can recommend the following hotel to those who want to be with the group. It is within walking distance of the Hash Pub and the meeting point of the weekend Hashes. If anyone would like another hotel recommendation (more luxurious or cheaper than the recommended one below), please contact us and we can provide recommendations of hotels that meet your needs.

Hash Hotel:

Traditional Jiangnan Beauty Hotel –just off of Suzhou Shiquan Jie Bar Street. Check-in for the Labor Day Weekend Hash is from April 30th with check out May 3rd. The hotel is family-owned by two fluent English speakers. It is newly renovated in traditional classical Chinese style. All rooms are clean and air-conditioned with private bath. The hotel is located off of the main Bar Street strip, so is quieter than those hotels located directly on Bar Street.

Airport transfers.

Hashers can fly into nearby Shanghai Hongqiao airport (86 km / approx. 45 min. by car or 1.5 hours by airport bus) or into Shanghai Pudong Airport (120 km / approx. 1.5 hours. by car or 2.25  hours by airport bus). There are airport buses to Suzhou from both airports and airport transfers to the Hotel are available. Contact us for schedules, booking and details.

Calling March Harriers 

The Suzhou Hash House Harriers March Hash Run number 9 is scheduled for Saturday March 13th. Annie, LTTB, Ivana and MasterKater are Hares. This will be a Shi Hu (Stone Lake) Hash and the Hash Bus will be on hand to get everyone to and from the Hash and to the Bash afterwards. Contact MasterKater at suzhouH3@gmail.com for sign-up and more details.

Changshu Spring Hash   

The Suzhou and Wuxi Hash House Harriers are teaming up for an Away Run at the YuShan Mountain resort area in Changshu at the end of March. Watch this space for details.
